Party Members Warm People's Hearts with Voluntary Services

"Serving the people wholeheartedly" — this is the motto of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the world's largest ruling party. The CPC had 98.04 million members at the end of 2022, including 29.3 million women members, who accounted for 29.9 percent of the Party's total membership. Although they are from different walks of life, and they joined the Party at different ages, their aspiration is the same: Serving the people. To mark the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the CPC, which fell on July 1, Party members, from across the country, attended various voluntary activities, to serve children, the elderly, farmers, workers, and community residents. They proved, through their actions, their original aspiration has not changed.

In Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, veteran and young Party members share their experiences in joining the Party, and they review their original aspirations.

Party members provide voluntary services to tourists in Nanhu Lake scenic area, in Jiaxing, a city in East China's Zhejiang Province.

Doctors, with a Party members' volunteer group, give free physical examinations to residents of Lu'an, a city in East China's Anhui Province.

A medical worker, who is a Party member, teaches CPR skills to employees of a company in Yongchuan, a district of Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.

Party members make zongzi, a traditional Chinese food popular during the Dragon Boat Festival, for disadvantaged families in Zhangye, a city in Northwest China's Gansu Province.
